Career Development Center

Sorry for the delay and the lack of content this week. It’s been a flu week for me so I haven’t gotten much done, but I did want to at least link you to the Career Development Center.

As you realize, you pay a student service fee every semester and a portion of this money goes to the Career Development Center. To their credit, they have really gone the extra mile to serve online students so your money has been put to good use – but only if you take advantage of their services. I encourage you to look at their website and see how they might serve your needs.

Have a good week.

I really enjoyed this week’s podcast on career services and since I am actively looking to start a new career it could not have come at a better time. I only wish that I were not one of those individuals that are in their final semester and only now using the resourses available from this department;) I have now signed up to utilize the online resources and am going to get my resume reviewed. Thanks for the great information and a message to those who are just starting the program, contact this office!

David, I'm glad this was useful. Gail has had a busy semester so it's taken a while to find time to sit down for this talk, but I knew it would be a key bit of info. One question: which David are you - so I can enter you in the iPod drawing.
